Operations Teams

Finance

Finance is responsible for budgeting our financial resources across TREL based on the lab’s needs and goals. Finance also manages internal accounting and procurement for the entire lab.

Internal Development

The Internal Development team is dedicated to ensuring the efficiency and seamless operations of TREL. Our responsibilities include recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, safety and regulation compliance, and community outreach. We play a crucial role in maintaining TREL’s functionality by managing cross-team communication and addressing lab-wide necessities, ensuring all aspects of the organization run smoothly.

Marketing/Communications

The Marketing/Communications team is responsible for creating and maintaining the overall brand of TREL. The team manages all of the social media accounts, the monthly newsletter, the website, branding and merchandise, photography, and promotional materials. Our team members work with a variety of tools and gain experience in: social media/digital marketing, technical writing, website development, graphic design, and creative content creation. We interact with all the engineering teams to highlight their progress on Halcyon and share TREL’s mission with the community.

Saftey and Facilities

The Safety & Facilities Team at TREL is dedicated to protecting our most valuable asset—our people—by providing comprehensive training and oversight for all hazardous operations in line with our safety standards. We also maintain TREL’s facilities and infrastructure, including workshops and test stands, ensuring an efficient and safe workspace that empowers our members to excel in their work.

Corporate Development

The Corporate Development team plays a vital role in fostering and sustaining industry partnerships and corporate support for TREL’s initiatives. The team is also responsible for organizing sponsor training and recruitment events, equipping lab members with skills aligned with the demands of the aerospace industry. Team members gain hands-on experience in professional communication, organization, leadership, and event planning. By collaborating closely with each engineering team, we ensure they have the resources needed to achieve TREL’s mission and objectives.
